You will receive an email from recruiting@altig.com called User Verification Request. Please click the link in the email to finish creating your planet account. Once this is done your planet account is then fully created.

Step 3: Join Our Agency Meetings Every Thursday at 12PM EST

Head to the Home Page to register for this week's Agency Meeting every Thursday starting at 12pm EST. Team Day is 1 PM EST (every Thursday 1-9PM EST) with all of you joining us in our main Kumo room. Let yout manager know you're here so they can greet you at the entrance! Team day is your chance to come learn and participate even before you hit the books and start studying! A great chance to meet your managers, other team members etc... Please join us every week! If you have any issues joining Kumospace please contact kyla@kumospace.com and cc your manager.

Step 4 Canada: Pass That Online Course

Login to your course provider, click on the link below! Course is required to be completed in a 14 day period to maintain your position... Don't wait! The first time you log into the course it will prompt you to create a CIPR number.  Follow the link to do that, It’s like a student number. Once you get the number go to the “my profile” section of the course and add in your number and save. Done all four certification exams? Let your manager know!

Step 4 Virginia: Pass That Online Course

Login to your course provider! https://www.examfx.com/ . Course is required to be completed in a 7 day period along with having your state exams booked. If you're in Illinois you'll also get started in active field training right away. Complete the 2 virtual courses, for life and health, and then complete the final course exam at the end of the course, to be eligible to write your state exam. Let your manager know when your online course has been completed!

Step 4 US Illinois: Pass That Online Course 

While you jump into the MIT Program it's super important to complete the online course at the same time so that it is completed by the time your State Exam is scheduled for.

Login to your course provider! https://www.examfx.com/ . Course is required to be completed in a 7 day period along with having your state exams booked. If you're in Illinois you'll also get started in active field training right away. Complete the 2 virtual courses, for life and health, and then complete the final course exam at the end of the course, to be eligible to write your state exam. Let your manager know when your online course has been completed!

Step 4.0 US Illinois: Get Your Temporary License

Your temporary license is $5.65 *prices subject to change*. It is good for 90 days which means you can start training right away while you study for the State Exam.

Step 5 US Illinois: Book Your State Exam

You must have your state exam booked within 7 days of being enrolled in the online course. 

Go to https://home.pearsonvue.com/il/insurance and create an account. Click "View Exams" and click "OnVUE Online Delivery" then you're going to click on "Life Producer" and book your exam. Repeat the steps to book your "Accident and Health Exam". Make sure you book them for the same day. Ensure you review all details on the site for exam prep. When done booking your state exam let your manager know! Illinois residence must also send their temporary license number over to altigoffice@gmail.com to activate your agent number.

Step 5 Virginia: Book Your State Exam

Book the soonest available times by clicking the link below. We recommend booking them all in a day or spreading them out in two days max! It's $35 per Exam. You'll also need to obtain fingerprinting this will cost $35.72, background check is not needed. Click on the link below to obtain your fingerprinting. *Prices are subject to change without notice* for more information please check https://www.prometric.com/virginia/insurance

Once State Exam has been booked please email altigoffice@gmail.com and cc your manager letting them know it's been booked and for when. 

Step 5 Canada: Book Your Provincial Exams (Ontario)

Book the soonest available times. We recommend booking them all in a day or spreading them out in two days max! Each provincial exam costs around $67 each, there are 4. If you fail one you will only need to pay $67 for the one and not all of them again.

Once your provincial date has been booked please email altigoffice@gmail.com and cc your manager letting them know the dates they've been booked for.

Step 5 Canada: Book Your Provincial Exams (Alberta)

Book the soonest available times. We recommend booking them all in a day or spreading them out in two days max! There are 4 provincial exams and the total cost is $100, so $25 each. If you fail one exam you will need to pay $100 in order to rewrite. *Prices are subject to change without notice* for more information please check www.abcouncil.ab.ca

Step 6: Train and Graduate the LIT Program

Leader In Training 

The LIT program is a performance-based training program designed to give you control of your career. Each of the 4 levels helps to build the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful in our business; walking you through the basics of learning and practice all the way to a level of competence and confidence and doing it on your own. As soon as you complete the graduation requirements for each level you move up! You control the pace of your career! The harder you work the quicker you grow!

ALPHA

You are an active learner! During this level you’ll be learning how to schedule appointments that will create presentations.  No better way than to learn by doing so be ready to make some calls! Nothing happens until an apt is set!  It’s one of the most important parts of the job.  Good bookers become great agents! You’ll be in a Kumospace room alongside other Alpha’s and some managers to help you learn!

BETA

You are now an active spectator! During this level you're expected to watch presentations & take notes to review with your manager while continuing to memorize your field script. The purpose of this level is to prepare you for Level Gamma which is an active participation level.







GAMMA

 You are now an active participant! During this level you’ll be using those booking skills you developed in Alpha along with the presentation  skills you acquired in Beta and putting them both together!  The apts you schedule you will personally present to with a manager.



DELTA

 You are now a full time participant! During this level you will work hand-in-hand with a manager day-to-day as part of the team in your team room. You do what they do! This will include booking apts, doing presentations, quality work and starting to learn to train our up and coming Alpha’s, Beta’s and Gamma’s on their journey.


Agent

CONGRATULATIONS! You've passed the LIT Program! You can now service clients on your own, recieve your own lead pack, begin to develop a team & earn an income.

Step 7: Apply for your Life License

Please refer to the "Apply & Renew a Life License" Tab for clear direct instructions.

Step 8: Get your Agent Number and Get Self Activated

You must code yourself to activate your agent contract which really simply means you must make your 1st enrolment with your new agent # * manager will explain * You DO NOT have to wait for your manager to arrange this with you. If you need assistance Karly our Assistant Office Coordinator will reach out to help you.

Karly & your manager will follow up with more details closer to the time your licence comes in but this is the starting point. You can make your first enrolment anytime after your number comes in, so to make it easy start thinking of someone you know who could use our benefits, even a child. You only need one! This will give you access to company leads as well as the ability to now begin to activate your Leadership contract. Again you do not need to wait for your manager to do this for you as soon as your agent number is active, get self activated.
